Certified business in the house

One day, in July of 2022, I was waiting for my little one to be done with her speech session at the Kankakee Library and decided to take a little walk over to the County Clerk Office to get my business name established. It was my very first step in getting Breasy Things to become a Certified Business within the state of Illinois. After that it was like hunting for the next pieces. Getting registered with the IRS and filing taxes are the most annoying things in dealing with small business. Next up, switching to an LLC instead of sole proprietor. Apparently there are benefits to making this adjustment, time will tell!
